10 Ways to Get What You Really Want
8 Mar 2005

1. Be flexible. Be open to opportunities that come your way. Try something new or a new way of doing something. 2. Realize your own value. If you are knowledgeable about an area or field, remember that there is always someone (many) out there who wants/needs your expertise. Free yourself to let it flow out there. 3. Get out of your comfort zone. Allow yourself to stretch to new heights. Become limit-less. Let the universe give you its best. 4. Remember that learning is a life-long process. Do your best and put your heart into it. Learn and tweak as you go along. Change, modify, refine as you move through the process of living. 5. Make fear your friend. Instead of turning away because you're anxious, let your butterflies fly in formation. Take actions that will help you diminish your anxiety. If public speaking terrifies you, get involved in Toastmasters to help you overcome being in front of groups. Feel the fear and do it anyway. 6. Stay in the moment. Being present keeps you focused and gives you clarity. Focus will increase your positive energy flow and make you more attractive to others. 7. Believe that you can and you will. Napoleon Hill says "conceive, believe, achieve." Take that first baby step toward your goal. As you become more confident, subsequent steps become easier and less threatening. 8. Keep a journal of your intents. List your intents. Read the list every morning and night. Repetition involves your subconscious mind and your intents become real. As your intents become real, the universe sets itself in motion toward you with what you want. 9. Write yourself at least 3 affirmations monthly. Read your affirmations daily (preferably at bedtime) so that your subconscious mind assimilates them as reality. Example: "I am a knowledgeable and valuable person. The universe has only good things for me." 10. Embrace the probability and possibility of success. Follow through on the actions you need to take to make your dream a reality, then step back, let go of the outcome, and let the universe bring it to you. The results may not be what you expected, but know that it will be the same or better. Would you like to learn more?
